IT Service Desk Systems Admin

Job Summary:

WGTech is looking for an IT Service Desk Systems Admin to join our growing team. This position works with clients to evaluate and solve advanced technical issues,installs new software releases, evaluates, and installs patches, resolves software related problems typically associated in an end-user environment, including but not limited to PC's, desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers. The ability to track and prioritize workload is essential. The most important attribute for this role is a dedication to customer satisfaction. Occasional variation in schedule should be expected, due to customer maintenance windows. This position requires participation in an on-call rotation and working in the office. This position is ideal for a candidate who wants to further develop their technical skills and competencies with a company offering lots of growth potential.

Employment Type: This is a full-time position.

Location: Westbrook, Maine (In Office)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of installing, deploying, and configuring desktop systems for end users.

  • Minimum 2 years of supporting Microsoft Server operating systems.

  • Basic server administration, including but not limited to Microsoft Active Directory, account setup, file security, and GPOs.

  • Exposure to Azure AD and\or InTune.

  • Email system administration & troubleshooting.

  • Microsoft Exchange or Office 365.

  • OS Imaging and software deployment experience.

  • Understanding of basic computer networking concepts.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation.

  • Strong personal and team communication skills.

  • A college degree in an Information Technology field is preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license

Software Developer

Workgroup Technology Partners is immediately looking for a good candidate to join our software development team.

If you are interested in playing a key role in the design, development, installation, testing, rollout, and maintenance of innovative insurance automation software, we have a position for you.

We are now actively seeking to fill an open position with someone with the following skills:

  • Experience developing Secure Web Applications using PHP and JavaScript and SQL.

  • Experience working and developing with SQL Server database.

  • Experience in any of the following would be a plus: Business software development, API development, source code control knowledge, enterprise level reporting, software performance optimization, software/solution deployment, EDI, banking, knowledge of insurance industry practices, experience with HIPAA, security best practices.

  • Ability to Build out Packages and procedures used in deploying our software in support of testing and production.

  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse and experienced team of IT professionals to properly set specifications for new applications. Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to understand and document client requirements and how they can translate into future application features.

  • Experience and familiarity utilizing software development methodologies and software release processes.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

  • Work in the Westbrook, Maine office

  • Live within a reasonable commute of the office.
